For this session, we will discuss how these so-called smart machines are able to “understand” the human language. Our speaker, Jude Michael Teves from the Philippines, will talk about the fundamentals of NLP, as well as share his experience working on the implementation and management of different related projects as part of ADB’s innovation team.

Meet our Speaker

Jude Michael Teves is an Artificial Intelligence Consultant at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). His current work includes implementing and managing a variety of projects in the fields of computer vision, natural language processing, data analytics, and IoT. In 2019, he earned his Master’s Degree in Data Science at the Asian Institute of Management, where he graduated as Batch Salutatorian with High Distinction, the highest academic award given by the institution.

This online session is happening on 2nd May 2020 at 4:00pm – 5:00pm (GMT+8). Only thirty (30) applicants will be selected for this opportunity. The event is absolutely FREE and will take place ONLINE via Zoom. We shall be sending you the meeting invite once accepted.
